Emerald Coast Middle School

Emerald Coast Middle School This project provided for a new K-8 school program in Santa Rosa Beach, FL for the Walton County School District. It included master planning for 138,944 gsf of space for a new middle school to accommodate grades 5, 6, 7 and 8: plus, a 96,000 gsf footprint for the addition of a future K-4 elementary school. Shared access to bus loop and kitchen that served separate dining (multi-purpose) areas for the middle school on one side and the elementary school on the other was an economical way of multi-tasking on the same campus. The project also included the design of a football/soccer field, basketball courts, baseball & softball diamonds, parking, roads, DOT turn lane and a large environmental pond.
